The successful applicant will be RICS qualified and ideally be a RICS Registered Valuer (sponsorship provided if not) who is competent in dealing with 'Red-Book' valuations for a range of purposes.

The main duties of this role will include:
Responsibility for providing proactive advice to a number of existing corporate, private and public sector clients and handling valuation instructions across the North East. Successful candidates will be expected to:
1 Manage the flow of valuation work to ensure timely delivery of reports.
2 Agree fee levels (within established parameters) and confirm instructions.
3 Carry out inspections, collate relevant material and obtain comparables.
4 Prepare and issue valuations to an established format having obtained sign-off as necessary.
5 Liaising with clients to develop existing relationships.
6 Seek out new business opportunities and pitch for new instructions where necessary.
7 Proactive fulfilment of instructions with effective time management.
8 Pitching for new instructions, preparation of marketing reports/presentations.
