Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsibility for analysing data sets across all of the Business Units and supporting the business leads to use this data to drive decisions.
The successful candidate will define client clusters, form profile segments from internal and external data and utilise modern techniques of Data Mining and Machine Learning to help understand customer behaviour.
You will be responsible for executing analytics projects and apply appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques to produce key insights and actionable takeaways and confidently present findings with recommendations to key stakeholders in an engaging way.
Working closely with the web teams to design, test, and analyse A/B tests; you will also apply statistics-based customer segmentation and cohort studies for various marketing campaigns and channels
You will establish business metrics and KPIs to understand trends, identify issues, and measure the performance of key marketing activities also.
An effective communicator with a strong passion for data, you will have a degree (or equivalent) in mathematics/statistics, computer science or in a quantitative-focused field.
You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in data analytics and be familiar with procedures such as Logistic regression, Decision trees, k-means, Neural networks and Text mining.
You will have been responsible for delivering Data Handling and Analytics projects in Data handling & Analysis projects plus a hands-on track record in Python data mining, as well as traditional SQL use cases. Proven knowledge of programming in Python is a must in this role and experience in Data visualisation (e.g. Tableau) is a plus.
You will be highly motivated to solve complex problems in close collaboration with others, goal-oriented, and eager to achieve real business effects.
Experience with designing data models that reflect business processes properly and familiarity in working with agile methodologies is also advantageous.
