A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join our bulk fuels client Finance team, to be based in Garelochhead, Scotland
In this newly created role within the organisation, which is integral to our small finance team, you will support the Finance Director in their obligation, to deliver a first-class finance service to all relevant internal and external stakeholders, including the preparation and analysis of detailed financial reports to all levels of the business.
£42,500 starting salary + Pension (12% employer contribution) + generous holiday entitlement and flexible working
The job is an all-round finance role with a requirement to prepare and analyse Finance and Board reports, to undertake front facing meetings with our clients customers as the Finance representative, work with the company Auditors during an extensive audit program, create budgets and forecast for future periods and prepare and back up customer invoices.
The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional, CIMA (or equivalent) qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience in a SME environment, who may be looking for a role working towards your first Financial Controller appointment.
You will have experience of managing audits or have been an auditor, with highly developed computer systems skills, with proven database administrator expertise, in an enterprise environment in one or more software systems.
You will be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure in a demanding but supportive environment, and most importantly have the ability to build and maintain credible positive relationships, with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the business. A clean driving license is required.
